At the Deux-Montagnes Public Library A Photographic Experience of our Heritage [2012-05-01]
Deux-Montagnes, May 1st 2012 -The Deux-Montagnes Public Library invites the population to visit a photographic exhibit realized by Secondary 3 students from Lake of Two Mountains High School, until June 10 during opening hours.
The photographic experience of heritage 2012 is a multidisciplinary project combining the courses of History, Multimedia and French. Secondary 3 students had to submit a picture, accompanied with a short text, representing our heritage. The objectives of this project were to foster an awareness of community heritage among young people through photography and to bring together several subjects such as history, arts and communications, as well as French. Lake of Two Mountains High School is proud to exhibit the work done by its students in collaboration with the Deux-Montagnes Public Library. For more information, please contact the Library at 450 473-2702.
